The American Society of Women Accountants strives to promote and advance financial literacy, scholarship and life skills through programs of recognition, mentoring, research and outreach.

The Charlotte Chapter of the ASWA supports this mission by sponsoring an annual Women in Accounting Undergraduate Scholarship for women aspiring to pursue a career in the accounting field. This scholarship will be awarded each year to a woman attending one of the numerous colleges or universities in the local community
